Build Your Own Japan Trip
Modular one-day itineraries for independent travelers
Most Japan travel blogs answer “where should I go?” This site answers “how do I combine places into a realistic trip?” — useful if you’re overwhelmed by fixed 7, 10, or 14-day itineraries and want to build your own instead.
The puzzle-piece method
Every article on this site is a complete, self-contained one-day plan — a “puzzle piece.” You choose the pieces that fit your trip and combine them in order. There are two kinds of pieces:
Hub Day (A → A)
Same hotel all day
You explore a city or area and return to the same hotel at night. No luggage to move, easy day planning — good for city exploration and day trips.
Transfer Day (A → B)
Change hotel/base
You combine sightseeing with relocating to a new base, and the article helps you plan luggage and transport flow along the way.
